Welcome to Mitchell's Plain Music Academy! By enrolling at our academy, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully:

Tuition Fees

• The monthly tuition fee for all students is R400 for all programmes, excluding Music Technology. This fee covers the cost of weekly classes, including Practical Music Studies, Theory of Music, and Aural Training, depending on the student's age and curriculum.

• Tuition fees are payable at the beginning of each month. Failure to pay on time may result in a delay or suspension of lessons.

 

Registration Fee

• A once-off registration fee of R380 is required upon enrolling at the academy for all other programmes, excluding Music Technology, which is R500. This fee covers administrative costs and is non-refundable.

 

Payment Methods

• Payments for tuition and registration fees can be made via bank transfer, credit card, or other methods as specified by the academy. Details will be provided upon enrollment.

Class Schedule

• Classes are scheduled once a week, with times available Monday to Thursday from 16:00 to 19:00, and Saturdays from 09:00 to 12:30. The academy reserves the right to adjust class schedules based on availability and demand.

Cancellation and Refunds

• In the event of a cancellation, the registration fee is non-refundable. Monthly tuition fees will not be refunded if a student withdraws mid-month. If a student is unable to attend classes due to illness or other reasons, it is the student's responsibility to notify the academy as soon as possible to arrange make-up lessons, subject to availability.

Attendance and Punctuality

• Students are expected to attend classes regularly and on time. Repeated absences or lateness may affect the student's progress and, in some cases, may result in a review of their enrollment.

Conduct and Behavior

• All students and parents must adhere to the academy's code of conduct. Disruptive behavior during lessons or at the academy will not be tolerated and may result in termination of lessons.

Liability

• The academy is not responsible for any personal injury or loss of property that may occur while on the premises. Students and parents/guardians are responsible for their own safety and belongings.

Amendments to Terms and Conditions

• Mitchell's Plain Music Academy reserves the right to update or amend these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to students and parents/guardians.

Agreement

• By enrolling at Mitchell's Plain Music Academy, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms and conditions.
